Merce Cunningham Dance Company

In 2010 Stiles was hired as the Sound Engineer & Music Coordinator for the the Merce Cunningham Dance Company. Working with the company during their precedent-setting "Legacy Tour," he produces and performs concerts featuring the works of many leading figures of the 20th and 21st century (including John Cage, David Tudor, Brian Eno, Radiohead, Sigur Ros, and John Paul Jones) as well as site-specific compositions he creates for the company's "Events." In 2011 Stiles created a revived version of David Tudor's "Sextet for Seven" to accompany MCDC's "Quartet." The debut of Stiles' revival was performed by Takehisa Kosugi at the Joyce Theater in New York City.
